Sit-ups and other ab exercises will NOT give you a flat stomach.
Why?
There is no such thing as spot reduction.
You can’t perform a specific exercise to reduce the fat from a specific spot on your body.
- Ab exercises WILL strengthen your abdominal muscles.
- Ab exercises WON’T get rid of the layer of fat covering your abs.
If we could really pick where we wanted to lose fat, wouldn’t most of us have flatter abs, thinner thighs, and smaller arms?
