What is the National Weight Control Registry (NWCR)?

A group of more than 5,000 adults who have lost at least 30 lbs and kept it off
for at least 1 year.

  • These adults have actually lost between 30 and 300 lbs and kept it off  from 1 – 66 years.
  • They are part of the largest ongoing study to identify how adults  lose weight and keep it off…from those who have successfully done it.
