Jim Carris recommends using Spri Xering or Xertube. You control the tension so you’re in control of the workout rather than a machine or some free weights which may be too easy or too advanced for you at the present time.
For the lower body, hip extensions and side-steps target hips and thighs. You begin by placing the Xering around both your ankles. Balance all of your weight on the right leg, straighten out the left. Extend the leg back as far as you comfortably can. Hold it, and then slightly release.
The side-step is a great exercise that specifically targets the thighs and the hips. Really feel that tension against the hips and the thighs, bring that back and hold.
For the upper body, step into the Xertube and try bicep curls. Keeping a nice firm wrist slowly exhale as you curl the band up and pause, slowly come down.
They Spri rings and tube are color coded by level. Most people new to strength training should start with the yellow ones.
