1. Choose synthetic fabrics

Buy exercise clothes made of:

  • Nylon
  • Lycra
  • Spandex
  • Polyester
  • Polypropylene

Unlike cotton, synthetic fabrics won’t trap sweat and moisture which can cause irritation against your skin.

2. Choose a snug fit

Clothes that are too loose or too tight will create friction and rubbing.
Buy shirts, shorts, pants, and sports bras that fit properly.

3. Wear clean, basic clothes

Wash new exercise clothes before wearing them.

Choose clothes with:

  • Small stitching
  • Few seems
  • Flat seems

Avoid clothes with:

  • Thick inseams
  • Zippers
  • Collars
