Exercise guidelines definition

Recommendations for exercise thought or proven to produce a particular result, for example weight loss.

There are generally four components of an exercise guideline: the recommended number of days per week to perform the exercise, how hard and how long to exercise, and what type of exercise to do.

The acronym F.I.T.T can be used to remember these four components:
