Exercise ball definition

An inflated ball generally used for a variety of exercises including strength training, core conditioning, stretching, and physical therapy.

Exercise balls are constructed of an elastic material (soft polyvinyl chloride/PVC) generally sold in ten centimeter (cm) increments between 35 and 85 centimeters (14 to 34 inches).

An exercise ball may also be known as a swiss ball, balance ball, fitness ball, physioball, or stability ball.
