Aerobic exercise definition

Activity that noticeably increases your breathing and heart rate for an extended period of time, but does not leave you breathless.

It involves continuous rhythmic movement of your large muscle groups such as walking, jogging, biking, and swimming.

Aerobic exercise may also be called cardiovascular exercise, cardiorespiratory exercise, “cardio”, or endurance exercise.
