How long should I cool down?

In general, 5-10 minutes

Aim for the higher end if you are:

  • Just starting an exercise program.
  • Just getting back into exercise.
  • Just exercised at a higher intensity than usual.
  • 65 years of age or older.

Be sure to rehydrate during and after exercise.
